2013 Mount Macleod Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a watery very pale straw hue. The nose displays top notes of ripe peaches and dried honey followed by some butterscotch, biscuity oak, nougat and spice. Mouthfilling flavours of honeycomb, ripe peaches and butterscotch biscuit greet the palate over a background of subtlety roasted almonds and spicy oak. Creamy textural feel with some fresh acidity balancing out the finish. Medium to long aftertaste of honeycomb, butterscotch, biscuity oak and spice. Certified organic.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
