2013 Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling

Operated by proprietor/winemaker Stephanie Toole, Mt.Horrocks is a quality orientated venture with deliberately restricted production and organic practises. Hand picked Riesling fruit is cooled and crushed with only the free run juice used. Brilliant water like colour with a very faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Lemon and lime scents burst out of the glass followed by orange rind and mineral. Both concentrated and mouth watering the palate delivers zesty flavours of lemon, lime and orange rind with a crisp mineral infused finish. Excellent acid structure with long lemon, lime and steely mineral aftertaste.
Drink now whilst at its vibrant best or cellar 5-6 years. (2013-2019).
