2013 Morgan Vineyards Merlot

Opaque black dark purple colour with a youthful bright very dark purple hue. The nose displays freshly crushed dark cherry aromas intermixed with some inkiness followed by some mulberry and spicy cedar. The palate is lean and dry with a firm tannin structure. Flavours of pen ink, dark cherries and spicy cedar with bright fresh acidity. Short aftertaste of pen ink, freshly crushed dark cherries and spicy cedar.
