2013 Moppity Vineyards Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with a bright purple hue. Aromas of fresh dark cherries and liquorice are followed by some cedary characters and spice. Youthful but possessing good up front richness the palate has flavours of dark cherries, liquorice and plums with underlying cedar and pepper. Dry firm tannins cut the finish short and impart a chalky feel. Aftertaste of inky dark cherries, liquorice, cedar and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
