2013 Mitchelton Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a dark purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of liquorice, blackberry and black cherry over toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper. Medium bodied and slightly chewy the palate has flavours of liquorice, black cherry, toasty oak and blackpepper. Dryish fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackpepper, black cherry and toasty oak.
Cellar 4-5 years.
