Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of citrus, green apple and lime are overlaid by some light toast with a faint hint of spice as an end note. Fresh and light across the palate flavours of lime and green apple intermixed with some light toast are followed by citrus and a touch of spice. Clean dry finish with cleansing acidity providing structure. Long lime, green apple, light toast and faint spice aftertaste.

First Tasted August 2014...
Brilliant water like colour with a light greenish tinge, especially around the edges and a watery hue. Citrus and crunchy green apple scents are followed by some lime and mineral. Light and fresh the palate has zesty flavours of crunchy green apple and citrus alongside some light lime nuances with a crisp dry steely mineral infused finish. Aftertaste of citrus, lime, green apple and mineral.
Cellar for 6-8 years.
Grass, lemongrass and a faint hint of talc; a generous palate with ripe Meyer lemon fruit and a faint echo of stone fruit, its generosity achieved without the loss of finesse or length. It is one of those uncommon semillons that will be equally enjoyable through its long life, however much complexity it will gain with age. Taste the '06 and you will understand its future. Drink by 2028.
