2013 McIvor Estate Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose is quite leathery with some earth, smoky cedar and pepper also chiming in. Medium to full bodied with again lots of leather characters on the palate largely concealing any remaining remnants of fruit. Some subtle liquorice, earth, smoky cedar and pepper also evident. Dry finish with a sturdy tannin structure. Aftertaste of leather, a trace of liquorice, earth, smoky cedar and pepper.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
