2013 Massena The Surly Muse Viognier

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose exhibits dried apricot top notes followed by some honeysuckle, a faint whiff of marmalade and spice. Light and very dry the palate doesn’t have the thick fat textural qualities sometimes seen in the variety. Palate flavours of dried apricot, honeysuckle and spice with a sense of minerality on the finish. Good acid structure with aftertaste of dried apricot, light dried honey and mineral.
Cellar 2-3 years.
