2013 Marenco Pineto Brachetto D'Acqui

Made from Brachetto grapes this comes across as a red version of Moscato. Pours with a light very fine spritz. Dark strawberry colour with a watery dark strawberry tinged hue. Fragrant aromas of sweet ripe strawberries and plum are intermixed with some tropical fruits and Turkish delight. The palate is quite rich and luscious yet at the same time refreshing with its light spritz. A fruity flavour profile of sweet ripe strawberries is interlaced with Turkish delight, musk and confectionary. Bright fresh finish with an aftertaste of ripe strawberries, Turkish delight and musk. Perfect with a strawberry desert. Serve chilled.
