2013 Longhop Old Vine Grenache

Sourced from 50 year old vines and matured in seasoned American and French oak. Deep dark red colour with a brick red hue. Lifted scents of ripe dark raspberries dominate the nose followed by chocolate bullets, vanillin confectionary and spice. Plump, supplely textured and round the palate features a juicy flavour profile of dark ripe raspberries, plum and liquorice over some spicy confectionary characters. Sweet ripe tannins only enhance the wines succulent velvety appeal. Long aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, ripe plum, subtle liquorice and confectionary.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
