2013 Leconfield McLaren Vale Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose is a little restrained at present yielding aromas of inky blackberry and dark cherry followed by a faint hint of liquorice, some dried meats and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is quite youthful and closed with flavours of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, inkiness and spice. Dry finish with firmly built tannins that require some time to soften. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, pen ink and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
