2013 Kilikanoon Covenant Shiraz

Excellent colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core and a very deep dark purple black hue. An impressive nose of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries is followed by some smoky vanillin cedar, dried meats and pepper. Big and rich the palate possesses superb structural qualities delivering mouthfilling flavours of opulent blackberries, liquorice and black cherries over a background of dried meats, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper. Dry, chewy finish with firm solidly built tannins providing the perfect foil to the huge core of fruit. Long blackberry, black cherry, liquorice, smoky dried meats and pepper aftertaste.
