2013 Jones Road Pinot Gris

Matured in seasoned French oak. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe pear and honeysuckle are overlaid by some musk and confectionary with spice end notes. Rich lusciously textured flavours of ripe pear and honeycomb fill the mouth followed by some baked apple, musk and spice. Off dry finish with good balancing acidity providing just the right amount of freshness. Long aftertaste of spicy ripe pear, honeycomb and baked apple. A rich, textured and very flavoursome Alsatian styled Pinot Gris.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
