2013 Glen Eldon Wines Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18-24 months in French and American oak hogsheads.
Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. On the nose ripe blackcurrant and chocolate bullet aromas are to the fore followed by hints of tobacco and spicy vanillin cedar. Rich, ripe blackcurrant flavours fill the palate with traces of liquorice also apparent over some light tobacco, vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
