2013 Giant Steps Sexton Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Showing some restraint the nose yields delicate white peach, cashew, biscuity oak and spice scents. Medium weight the palate is more forthcoming than the nose with flavours of white peach to the fore over a back drop of light cashew, funky match stick characters and flinty mineral. Clean dry finish with a medium to long white peach, funky match stick and light cashew aftertaste.
