2013 Garnier & Fils Montmains Chablis 1er Cru

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays riper pear notes than the Mont de Milieu alongside some subtle white peach scents and citrus with some cashew, dried honey and faint spice following. The palate is also fuller and less linear than it’s Premier Cru counterpart featuring flavours of pear, citrus and a touch of cashew followed by some wet stone and mineral. Dry finish with fresh acidity. Aftertaste of pear, citrus, wet stone and mineral.
