Other Reviews....
The 2013 Barolo Bricco delle Viole is a real head-turner. Sweet, perfumed, vivid and exceptionally beautiful, the 2013 is simply stunning. A wine of exceptional finesse and sensuality, the 2013 hits all the right notes. Today, the 2013 reminds me of the 2008, but with more depth, density and creaminess - especially through the middle - and slightly redder fruit tones.

Antonio Galloni - Vinous

Red fruits, pomegranate, rose oil, a little spice, but fine perfume here, with an almost jellied sweetness in its youth. Medium bodied, pretty and red fruited, with a beautiful mouth-perfume, fine lacy tannin, mineral freshness and cleanliness to its acidity, a subtle almond creaminess, then a gentle dusting of tannin on a long cool finish. You might even call it a ‘Burgundy’ style Barolo, just to get a clearer fix on style. This is a special wine.
