Matured for 14 months in 100% French oak puncheons. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Medium bodied with an elegant mouthfeel flavours of ripe red currant and mulberry overlay traces of bay leaf and spicy cedar. Dryish, tight knit finish with faintly chalky but otherwise fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red currants, mulberries, spicy cedar and dried herbs.
Cellar 6-8 years.

Other Reviews….
This has the depth of its Stone Dwellers sibling, but its power comes of finesse, cassis supplanting blackcurrant as it effortlessly seduces your palate. Every way you look at it, from the front, the back, the sides, it sings. Dial in a taste question and it will answer. Drink by 2043.
