2013 Fabiana Calidus Primitivo di Manduria

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced spicy black cherry aromas meld into hints of liquorice and dried cherries with ensuing earthy leather, dried herb and subtle pepper end notes. Big and rich the palate is drenched with ripe black cherry, liquorice and dried cherry flavours over a back drop of leather, earth and spicy dried herb infusions. Finishes dry with firm chewy tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of black cherries, dried cherries, subtle liquorice, chewy leather and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
