2013 Elderton High Altitude Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in old American and French oak puncheons. Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. The nose displays fresh dark cherry and blackcurrant aromas over some cedary tobacco notes and spice. Medium weight the palate has generous elegantly textured flavours of blackcurrant and dark cherries followed by cedary tobacco like characters and spice. Fine grained well integrated tannins with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
