2013 Eden Road The Long Road Pinot Noir

Included 20% whole bunch clusters and was matured in French oak barriques of which 15% were new for a period of 12 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and strawberries are overlaid by some smoky oak with some meaty characters and spice following. Light weight flavours of dark cherries and ripe strawberries are followed by some toasty clove like characters, meatiness and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries, meaty characters and spicy cloves.
