2013 Delas Saint Esprit Cotes du Rhone

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright crimson purple hue. Lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by some clove and roasted meat like characters with spicy earthy incense end notes. Medium weight the palate features black raspberry and cherry flavours intermixed with spicy scorched earth characters and some meatiness. Finishes dry with fine grained tannins and an aftertaste of spicy black cherries, scorched earth and dried meats.
