Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Intense aromas of ripe white peaches infused with dried honey are melded into some cashew and nougat followed by funky struck matchstick notes. Rich and medium weighted the palate has a terrific line of acidity running through it which provides some freshness. Mouthfilling flavours of white peaches, dried honey and funky struck match stick characters overlay a back drop of cashew, biscuit and mineral. Clean dry finish with a moderately creamy textural feel. Long aftertaste of white peach, cashew, dried honey, struck match stick characters and flinty mineral.
Cellar 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked on a biodynamic flower day; whole bunch-pressed and wild-fermented in French oak and an egg, with a completely spontaneous fermentation before maturation for 7 months in French oak (30% new). It has brightness and life from the natural acidity remaining after the mlf, the fruit flavours drawn from both citrus and stone fruit inputs. Chardonnay. Drink by 2030.
