2013 Craiglee Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Scents of delicate white peach and citrus are followed by subtle dried honey, cashew and spice notes. The palate displays good intensity yet is still quite elegant featuring flavours of white peach and pears laced with citrusy honey characters over some biscuity cashew, light toasty oak and spice. Finishes dry with good freshness counterpointing the rounded creamy like textural feel. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe peaches, citrusy honeyed characters, lightly toasted biscuity oak and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
