2013 Cofield Rutherglen Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose displays dark plum aromas with some ripe dark cherries, a touch of liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar also present. Modern in style, soft and fruity this medium bodied red is a far cry from the traditional Rutherglen power houses. Flavours of ripe dark plums and dark cherries intermix with a hint of liquorice and vanillin cedar. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe plums, dark cherries and vanillin cedar.
