Semi translucent dark red colour with a slight tinge of black around the edges and a bright crimson hue. The nose displays perfumed scents of ripe dark cherries intermixed with some violet and anise followed by some subtle meaty characters and spicy cedar. Light weight the palate features generous flavours of dark cherries, subtle anise and violet infusions with some underlying cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Good power wave with a long dark cherry, violet infusions, cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 13%

Other Reviews….
Excellent purple-crimson colour, deep but clear; a kaleidoscopic mix of red cherry, black cherry, plum, spice and a twist of herb; the supple palate is largely fruit-driven, but there are complexities pointing to the probability of a small percentage of whole bunch fermentation, and certainly maturation in quality French oak. Drink by 2020.
