2013 Clyde Park Locale Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a bright crimson red hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with scents of dark cherries merging with some subtle anise and meaty characters followed by toasty cedar and spice. Light but very savoury the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, some sour cherry and dark plum to the fore followed by subtle smoky oak and spice. Good power with soft fine grained tannins and lively acidity on the finish. Medium to long conclusion of ripe dark cherry, a touch of sour cherry, dark plum, smoky cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
