2013 Clos Henri Petit Clos Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Perfumed scents of delicate violets, dark cherries and strawberries are interlaced with a hint of anise followed by meaty game like characters and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied with a very meaty mouthfeel the palate possesses generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries alongside a touch of anise with a strong dried meat overlay and a very spicy finish. Slightly dryish very fine grained tannins. Good power with an aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dried meats and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
