Unusual for Bordeaux, the Pessac-Léognan region is equally famous for its white wines as for its reds. These Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blends are considered as some of the great white wines of the world. Elegant and textured due to some time spent in oak barrels, they're full flavoured and will benefit from mid term cellaring. The Chateau Ferran Blanc is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon.

Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals grassy characters intermixed with a faint whiff of capsicum and citrus over a background of pencil shavings and a hint of asparagus. The palate is quite dry and possesses a rounded textural feel with flavours of grassy asparagus and citrus followed by pencil shavings and a touch of spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of grassy asparagus, citrus and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
