2013 Capel Vale Regional Series Cabernet Sauvignon

Superb colour displaying an inky black core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of cassis, cedary tobacco, black olive and spice emanate from the glass. Full bodied with excellent richness and a chewy mouthful the palate features flavours of ripe blackcurrant and cedary tobacco characters followed by subtle black olive, cigar box and spice. Firmly built tannins provide some grip on the finish. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cigar box, black olive and spicy cedary tobacco. Still relatively youthful this wine will require some cellaring for all of the components to fall into place.
