2013 Cape Bernier Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose offers up aromas of dark cherries alongside some anise, stalky cedar, meatiness and spice. Very supple and soft in the mouth with good richness the palate has medium weighted flavours of ripe dark cherry, dark plum, anise and toasty cedar characters over some meatiness and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Low acidity with an aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plum, toasty cedar, anise and spicy dried meats. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc 13.5%
