Butch Morgan is the creation of Izway’s Craig Isbel and Brian Conway in partnership with the Kalleske family with the aim of the project to produce a high quality Barossa Shiraz that delivers great value and also good cellaring potential.

A rich luscious Barossa Shiraz with good underlying structure.

Totally opaque inky black purple colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Expressive aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by some vanillin confectionary and pepper. Exuberant and rich the palate delivers opulently textured flavours of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries over some smoky vanillin cedar and meaty pepper characters. Velvet smooth tannins, yet quite structured. Long juicy aftertaste of liquorice, ripe black cherries, smoky vanillin cedar, dried meats and pepper.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc 15%

Outstanding colour displaying an impenetrable midnight black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Youthful freshly crushed berry aromas of blackberry and dark plum are followed by some inky liquorice characters, meaty cedar and spice. Full bodied with a dense opulent texture the palate is packed with an abundance of perfectly ripened Shiraz fruit including blackberries, liquorice and black cherries which overlay some toasty oak and spice. Superb richness with solid tannins that take on a velvet like appearance beneath the wealth of fruit. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, toasty oak and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
