2013 Buckshot Vineyard The Square Peg Zinfandel

Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of black plums intermixed with some liquorice and black cherries with spicy raisin end notes. Rich and joosy the palate features flavours of black cherries, plum jam and liquorice over a backdrop of light raisin like characters, cedar and pepper. Grippy but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, plum jam and spicy pepper.
Cellar 3-4 years.
