2013 Boroli Quattro Fratelli Barbera d'Alba

Semi translucent dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a crimson red hue. Earthy red and sour cherry aromas are followed by some dusty cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Light, very elegant and dry the palate has flavours of red and sour cherries intermixed with dried herbs over some earthy cedar and spice infusions. Dry finish with fine grained tannins and relatively bright acidity. Finishes a little short with flavours of red cherries, dried herbs, earthy cedar and spice.
