Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2021-2022)

Totally opaque midnight black core with a dark purple black hue. Nosing reveals scents of blackberry, liquorice and dried meats which are followed by some lightly smoked vanillin cedar and pepper. Full bodied with a plush fleshy textural feel, flavours of rich dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours are to the fore over toasty vanillin oak and peppered dried meat characters. A solidly built tannin structure provides the framework yet is largely unnoticeable. Long dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14.5%

Other Reviews...
An altogether serious shiraz, with sultry black fruits joined by nuances of spice and oak on the bouquet, the full-bodied palate picking up welded-together blackberry, plum, licorice and dark chocolate powder flavours, tannins and oak also contributing positively. Drink by 2033.
