Other Reviews....
This wine has spent around three years under flor; a sous voile wine. Stephane Tissot an outstanding spokesperson for Jura wines in general. This is the kind of wine that sets you on a righteous path. It’s an outstanding release.
So good. Addictive stuff. Powerful brown lime, sea spray and green apple scents, and importantly, just a hint of mustard powder. Linear in the palate, fine boned and juicy but with filigree of detail, incredible mineral vein, that sense of nuttiness, saline acidity and supreme length. Complexity, intensity, glory. This is so bloody good, and top of tree as an example of the sous voile style. A clear statement of how savagnin is grape royalty.
