2013 Bass Phillip Crown Prince Pinot Noir

Deep, slightly cloudy dark red colour with a semi translucent dark red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries, plum and strawberry are followed by some meatiness, earthy leather like characters and spicy cedar. Rich and almost luscious this is a very generous medium weighted Pinot. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries sit alongside some dark plum overlaying spicy anise like characters and meaty cedar. Very spicy finish with velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with a long aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, plum, meaty anise and earthy cedar.
