2013 Barking Mad Shiraz

Matured in 100% French oak hogsheads for 12 months. Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Nosing displays aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and plums over a vanillin cedar background. Full bodied the palate possesses rich succulent flavours of liquorice and blackberries over some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Very fine grained tannins with a joosy aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice and spicy toasted vanillin oak.
Cellar 2-3 years.
