2013 Ata Rangi Lismore Pinot Gris

Twenty percent of this wine was barrel fermented. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe pears are intermixed with some musk, tropical fruits and honeysuckle with some light cinnamon spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate is filled with rich lusciously textured flavours of ripe pears, tropical fruits and musk followed by some honeysuckle and spice. Medium dry with some residual sugar present. Good fresh acidity keeps everything in balance. Medium to long ripe pear, honeysuckle and spicy musk aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
