2013 Artigiano Primitivo

Deep dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe cherries, a touch of liquorice and plum are followed by some inky earth like characters and spicy end notes. Medium bodied the palate has generous, quite fruity flavours of dark plum and dark cherry over some liquorice, faint earth and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plum, liquorice, lightly scorched earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
