2013 Andrew Peace Wines Australia Felix Premium Barrel Reserve Cabernet Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in French barriques. Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Youthful aromas of liquorice, blackcurrant and spearmint are followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium weight and elegant the palate has flavours of dark cherries, a touch of liquorice and spearmint over some vanillin cedar. Dry inky finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, spearmint and vanillin cedar.
