2012 Yelland & Papps Vin de Soif

Produced from a blend of 65% Grenache, 27% Mataro, 5% Shiraz and 3% Carignan. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. The nose offers up intense aromas of ripe dark raspberries and black plums followed by a hint of liquorice with cinnamon spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has rich succulently textured flavours of dark raspberry and dark plum intermixed with a touch of liquorice followed by some spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Medium to long dark raspberry, plum and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
