2012 Willow Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak of which 25% was new. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red tinged hue. Delicate aromas of dark cherries, very subtle anise, meaty characters and spicy cedar. Light and elegant with reasonably good power the palate features flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, dried meat characters, spicy cedar and faint earth. Velvet smooth tannins. Supple and savoury with an aftertaste of dark cherries, meaty game like characters, subtle earth and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
