2012 Wignalls Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a very pale straw water like hue. Rich aromas of honeycomb, ripe peach, butterscotch and nougat are followed by a hint of hazelnut and spice. Full bodied and creamy in texture the palate features a rich flavour profile of honeycomb and ripe peach overlaid by some butterscotch with nuances of toasty oak and nougat following. Clean dry finish with perfectly judged acidity. Excellent depth with a long conclusion of honeycomb, butterscotch, toasty oak and light hazelnut.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
