2012 Vinoque Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black core with a dark crimson purple hue. The nose displays inky aromas of liquorice and blackberries followed by some toasty oak and blackpepper. Medium bodied with good mid palate richness the palate has flavours of dark plums and blackberries followed by some liquorice and spicy toasty oak showing good balance between the acidity, tannins and fruit. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins showing some grip. Medium to long inky blackberry, liquorice and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
