For the past four generations, the Vietti family has been producing wine in Castiglione Falletto, a small village located in the centre of the Langhe region of Piedmont, from their vineyards located across the five communes designated for the cultivation and production of Barolo. They also produce this intriguing Arneis which is one of the best examples of this varietal we’ve tasted.

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose offers up fragrant scents of ripe apples and pears alongside some musk with a hint of honeysuckle also present. The palate features good textural richness with fruity flavours of apples and pears overlaid by some musk with a spicy dry finish. Good crisp acidity with aftertaste of spicy apple and musk.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2015-2016).
Alc 13.5%
