2012 Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. Perfumed nose with a hint of violet intermixed with ripe blackcurrant and black olive scents over a background of cedary tobacco and spice. Medium bodied the palate has an elegant refined mouthfeel featuring generous blackcurrant flavours alongside black olives with underlying cedary cigar box characters and spice. Very fine grained tannins are perfectly interwoven with the fruit. Long savoury aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, cedary cigar box and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
