2012 Tscharke Shiraz Shiraz Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with deep very dark purple hue. Youthful but showing good lift the nose displays aromas of dark plums, blackberries and liquorice followed by some toasty oak and spice. Tight and inky the palate has flavours of liquorice, blackberries, toasty oak and spice. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of inky blackberry, liquorice, dried meats and spicy toasted oak.
