2012 The Armchair Critic Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson purple hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice and blackberries followed by some dried meats, smoky cedar and pepper. Medium to full bodied with a meaty but generous mouthfeel the palate features flavours of liquorice, blackberries and smoky vanillin cedar with a peppery back palate. Firmish but fine grained tannins provide an excellent framework. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin oak and pepper.
