2012 Tellurian Viognier

Matured in seasoned French oak barriques for 7 months with extended lees contact to build complexity and texture. Bright pale straw colour with watery hue. Showing the varietals trademark exoticness the nose displays lifted ripe apricot scents followed by some ripe tropical fruits, honeysuckle and spice. Full bodied, rich and round with a supple mouthfeel the palate delivers concentrated flavours of apricot and honeysuckle followed by spice and some waxy dried nut like characters. Clean finish with long dried apricot, dried honey and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2016).
